Michael O'Brien is a singer/songwriter who has spent the last 30 years in full-time ministry. In the early 90s, he signed a record deal with Benson Records garnering three (3) number one singles on the radio. Those included "If Ever I Forget" and "Nothins gonna turn me around" as well as “What Held you on the cross." However, his time as the lead singer of the group "Newsong" was equally successful, with his duet with Natalie Grant "When God Made You," ad from their worship project "Rescue," "Before The Day" and "Psalm 40" which gained widespread popularity.
Throughout his career, Michael O'Brien has remained committed to spreading the gospel through his music. He has performed at over 2300 events, touching the hearts of individuals with his powerful message of God’s mercy and grace. Whether performing solo or with a group, O'Brien's unique style and powerful vocals have given him many opportunities to share his gifts with the body of Christ.
As he just celebrated his 30th year, Michael O'Brien continues to inspire and uplift audiences with his message. His unwavering commitment to his faith and his dedication to sharing the love of God through his music serve as an inspiration to other believers.
Guitarist David Cleveland
I met David back when he first moved to Nashville in 1991. I would end up hiring David to play on most of his demos while he was a songwriter for Meadowgreen Music in those early years. Then, several years later, David would hire me to play keyboards on the Twila Paris "Beyond a Dream" Tour in 1994. David has played on many of my projects. He truly is a humble man with an amazing ability to play guitar and worship God.
From 1999 to 2006 I was the lead singer of Newsong
in 2021, I did a reunion concert with Newsong at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Va and was able to perform the hits Rescue, Psalm 40 and When God Made you with the guys. Much fun was had by all.
Pastor Voddie Baucham
I have listened to sermons and read several of Voddie Bachaums's books. Are you allowed to be a fan of a pastor? Anyway, I had the opportunity to minister alongside of Voddie last year at the Cove.
My MAMA
My Mom has been one of my biggest supporters over the years. Matter of fact, I call her on the phone every time I hit the road and she always tells me "Godspeed Son." She is not only my mother, but more importantly my sister in Christ and I'm so grateful to the Lord.

Kurt Warner
Kurt was the only NFL player I ever really wanted to meet after reading his book"First Things First". I got that opportunity last year at a men's conference in Lynchburg. Kurt was gracious enough to snap this photo with me.

What joy I have with this young man. He loves God's word. He's thankful for life and wants to serve the Lord in whatever way he can. He is an amazing videographer and is a musical artist as well. His songs are absolutely original and fun and very rhythmic. And he just married the love of his life Alex. She is beautiful and loves Jesus too.

Mikey is my oldest son (named after me) and he won Sarah's heart while he was at Covenant College in Chattanooga. One of the best things he ever did, if you ask me. She is a precious soul and we love spending time with them when we can. He has his own YouTube channel called “Overthrow Disc Golf.“ Check it out. The sport is growing.

Joseph is the son who followed in my footsteps and is in Christian Music. He signed with Gotee records and just got off tour with Steven Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp. He is now on the WinterJam. My daughter Meghan (my oldest) married Trey nearly 6 years ago. Trey is a realtor in the Lynchburg, Va area and also an amazing woodworker. Meghan is a full time Momma and wife and is a wedding photographer on the side. (She is in high demand these days) Well, they have given me 3 grandkids.
